This post is in partnership with Kia Motors America

I haven’t made it a secret on how much I love Kia. Especially the new crossover hybrid Niro. Kia has quickly developed the reputation in the last few years of being a strong competitor and their motto suits them perfectly. Luxury at affordable prices. They live up to this in spades.

In fact, Kia Motors America just recently announced 16 consecutive months of record certified pre-owned sales!

Kia owners report fewer issues with their vehicles within the first 90 days of ownership than all other car and truck brands in the U.S. That’s HUGE!

Ride & Drive With Kia at Six Flags

In May my two favorite things (besides my kids) partnered together, Kia and Six Flags! We got to have a little fun on the roller coasters and check out the new Kia fleet. I have driven the Niro before but my husband after listening to me go on and on about the new Kia, was itching to try them out himself.

We found the Ride & Drive right away and signing up for the ride was a breeze!

We have been seriously considering purchasing a Niro for our new car so my daughter and I along with my BFF Meredith from Sanity in Suburbia hopped in the Niro. I wanted Gilli’s opinion and have her try out the backseat because she would spend more time back there than me. My husband and my son tried out the Sorento.

The Niro got a huge thumbs up from Gilli. My husband Scott LOVED the Sorento so I have a feeling that we might be a two Kia family soon. He was really impressed and was surprised at how comfortable the Sorento was, how well it handled and how quiet the Sorento was inside. He doesn’t like to admit I am right, but being a huge avid car enthusiast, he couldn’t dispute how well built they are.

Riding in the back seat of the Niro was a dream. Normally I get car sick in about 3 minutes in the back of the car but I was totally fine. I swear the Niro is the smoothest ride out there. I am not a gusher about cars, I leave that to my husband, but I can’t help but gush about Kia and the Niro. With my fibro it’s the perfect car. The seats are low to the ground and they are the most comfortable I have ever sat in.

Since I am trying to be a lot more eco- friendly and teaching my kids to leave the smallest footprint possible, my favorite feature about the Niro is that I can see just how much energy I am using! Yay Green!

It doesn’t get any better than that! Not only does Kia have the coolest cars, the people are pretty cool themselves. I have never come across an employee that didn’t have a smile on their face or be willing to answer any questions you have.

After cruising around in the Kia Fleet we hit the roller coasters – the kids got to try the new Joker! We rode awesome coasters, ate some pretty awesome food and totally tired out the kids. It was a gorgeous day, perfect for all the rides – cars and roller coasters!

The kids were so worn out from all the fun that in true mom style, Mere and I ended up carrying everything….even the capes!

We want to thank Kia and Six Flags so much for inviting us out for such a fun day! It was a great break from the everyday normal. Happy summer y’all! I am so glad it’s finally here.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
