Did you know that cats can have seasonal and indoor allergies? Until we rescued Aura and Frosty I had no clue. Both contracted feline viral rhinotracheitis (FVR) when they were kittens before we rescued them and now we have to be very careful of their immune system.
Every morning when we feed them they get a dose of lysine and whatever supplement they need that day. In the two years that we have had them, I have been searching for cat lysine that they would actually eat and not move around while they were eating.

We live on a busy street so Aura and Frosty don’t go outside unless they are on a harness. I open the door and windows whenever I can to help alieve my guilt of denying them the outside.
The downside is that it triggers their allergies. Aura gets runny eyes and sneezes. Frosty gets goopy stuff in his eye.
