About

She is relentlessly patient, always sarcastic, has the mouth of a truck driver (ironic, huh?) & is obsessed with the supernatural (especially Jensen Ackles, but that’s a story for another day.) She is a chronic pain & fatigue fighter, PCOS survivor. She was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. She is probably the most stubborn person you know. Jen doesn’t believe in organized religion, but is fiercely spiritual & believes strongly in God & Karma. She is a Pisces & fully embodies the water sign. Loves oceans & the beach. It’s where she most feels at home. (Cape Cod & Rhode Island beaches to be specific!) She is addicted to smart phones, the internet,  and all types of technology. She is a total foodie and loves to try new recipes!! What she loves the most though is spending time with her family in any way shape or form. And yes. She has purple hair.

She currently resides in the MidWest but is a New Englander at heart.

Why use the word crafty when you don’t feature a lot of crafts?

Simple. I started this site to help people navigate parenting. I have always prided myself at being a “crafty” parent. Always staying one step ahead of your kids. Myself and my life embodies the word “crafty” in every way. I love crocheting, I love finding cool things for my kids to do to keep them out of trouble and I may be a little mischievous.

• I have three kids- 20 year old boy, 17 year old girl and a 10 year old girl.
• One husband who loves cars, hard rock and guitars. He’s also addicted to smartphones and technology.

Missy

Missy is Jen’s sister from another mister and lives in Central IL. She is a mom, hairdresser, fan girl and an all around awesome person. She is currently writing her first book (if she can get through the first draft) while juggling a soon to be 3 year old and a newborn. Oh, and her husband owns one of Jen’s favorite restaurants that serves the best french fries and ice cream a person could ever want.

Andrea Coventry is a Montessori child, turned Montessori educator who maintains that philosophy and upbringing by constantly challenging herself to learn new things and to share that knowledge with others of all ages. Often found with a book or Kindle in hand, she also spends time crafting, gardening, writing, and hiking along local trails and beaches while photographing the beautiful world around her.
