If you have a pre-teen and teenagers like me, you probably are worried about screen time.

If you want to see the kids come running, turn off the wifi. It is like the zombie apocalypse has hit and the zombies are attacking the house.

It has been a struggle parenting in this new information age. My older two didn’t have it quite as easy as my 10-year-old. With Liv, I feel like sometimes if I had an iPad on my face I would hold her attention more.

It’s not how I like to interact with my kids. My husband and I were looking for a solution that wasn’t harsh but reinforced the importance of being present in the non-virtual world.

Keep Family Time Device Free By Managing Screen Time

    Enter Circle by Disney.

Circle by Disney is the ultimate screen time management system.

Ever wish you could manage your kids’ devices wherever they went? Circle Go makes it possible.

When you use Circle in your home you benefit from: Manage all of your home’s connected devices.

    • Management of all of your home’s connected devices.
    • The parents can filter content, limit screen time and set a bedtime for every device in the home.
    • Circle’s Features Time Limits  – Screen time is very important to kids and for parents who manage it.
    • Time Limits – offers the ability to limit daily screen time for platforms, apps, and categories, painlessly.

Yes. You can even manage your own devices. I LOVE it. When I want to sit and enjoy time with my family I can put my devices on pause. I get a lot of notifications from being a blogger and it is nice to just enjoy some silence for a bit.

Yes, I actually have a pause button for the internet. I can pause one of my kids because it’s time for homework or everyone because it’s Taco Tuesday night. Either way, Circle has my back.

I can read a book, by myself or with my daughter without the constant interruptions on my phone. We can enjoy dinner outside without any of our phones going off.

It’s an amazing balance. We can have the internet when we want, our devices when I want them to have them and I control what is going on.

It’s has been a real piece of mind now that my 10-year-old has discovered Youtube. It’s a scary cyberland out there.

One of the most amazing things about the Circle by Disney is that it’s portable. You just have to charge it and you can have it any room, anywhere. I love it!

Another fantastic feature is the Bedtime Feature. With Circle’s BedTime feature, I never have to yell up the stairs “devices off” anymore. When BedTime kicks in devices say goodnight all on their own.

You can also set individual filter levels for each family member that matches their age and interests. Do it once and it will apply to every one of their devices after you add then to their profile.

I have a different setting for my teens and my preteen. If I think my 10-year-old is watching too much Youtube or Musically I can just toggle them right off!

Circle Insights gives you the ability to compare time online today, last week, or even last month. Per site or by interest. You can even find out where you or your kids waste time the most.

As you can see below….we have a lot of devices. It’s as easy as adding them to your family members profile and whatever setting you choose, it automatically sets that device to their filter.

Circle Go (the membership) also takes all of the settings your kids’ devices have at home and extends them to 4G LTE and any other Wi-Fi network they join!

To learn more about the awesomeness that is Circle by Disney, check out their website! I have been loving from the very first day we set it up.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
