I found the actual instructions difficult so I used a variation of pulling the yarn through with the hook instead of looping it around my finger. It worked great! Here’s the project I made:
It was made from a knitting pattern I found at the craft store and then added my own spin to it. I then was cruising the crochet sites and saw that some one had added the loop stitch to theirs, re-learned the loop stitch and Wha-La!
Now my daughter wants me to make her a “loopy” purse! 🙂 It’s a very cool, but time consuming stitch. I highly recommend that you use kitchen cotton if you do the pattern for durability.
