    TwirlyGirl Pinwheel Dress

If you have a princess like me you know how picky a princess can be. Have you ever found yourself in a conversation that involved the statement “it’s just not twirly enough”? I have. Even as my 7 year old is moving away from the “Disney Princess” stage, her princess roots still hold firm. She is in dance, has the moves now and wants a dress or outfit that can keep up with her. It’s harder than it sounds to find cute girl dress. It seems like as the years go buy the dresses get older and older. Some of the dresses look like they are for a 14 year old, not a 7 year old. I don’t know about you but I like to keep them as little for as long as I can. Booty shorts or dresses for a 7 year old just doesn’t compute for me. In my search for cute dresses for girls, I stumbled upon TwirlyGirl.

What totally sold me on them is their “thinkery”.

To be a part of the TwirlyGirl collection, every style must be:

    1.Comfy
If it doesn’t feel good she’s not going to wear it.  We only choose fabrics that she wants to LIVE in.  We also make sure seams won’t be bothersome and that nothing is scratchy or itchy.

    2.Unique & Extraordinary
    Each style needs to:
    • Illuminate movement for full expression.
    • Possess extra details that delight her senses.
    • Have a WOW factor that makes her feel special.
    • Be made in limited runs to provide one-of-a-kind appeal.

    3.The Right Fit
We use elastic waistbands and knit fabrics so that the clothing can actually grow with her.

    4.Fun
Twirl, dance, fly, dress up for an occasion, or simply curl up with a good book.  Our clothing is versatile and is prone to inspire imagination.

    5.Built To Last
We use a 4 thread overlock stitch in our seams -never 3.  Everything holds up even under spirited play and repeated washings. You’ll be able to hand it down to a sibling, a friend, or donate it – still in excellent condition.

    6.Easy Care
All our fabrics are colorfast and machine washable.
And we are proud to say all our clothing is manufactured in the USA.

The dresses definitely live up to the hype. My daughter really loves the cute girl dresses like these that we found on the website. We received the TwirlyGirl Pinwheel Dress to review and she was over the moon when we got it in the mail. We have had really horrible weather and my 7 year old has been really ill, so it’s been too cold for her to wear it but as soon as the sun was out the dress went on and we had a little photo shoot with it. She told me she felt so fancy and comfy.

I have been really impressed with the durability of the dress and how it doesn’t wrinkle at all. If my daughter is having a “girly day” she can just throw it on and I don’t have to worry about her looking like she just fell out of the hamper. She gets to dress up and I can feel ok with her wearing it out. A lot of her dresses stain easily and rip. Not conducive to shopping and lunch out.

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
