One of my kid’s favorite things to do is create crafts that they can use over and over again. This adorable Bunny Snack Cup Kids Craft has already hopped its way into our hearts.
My daughter’s new obsession is streaming shows on Amazon. She loves to watch all kinds and lucky for me, she still likes to watch kids shows.
I am definitely not ready for her to move into her teenage years so I encourage what I think is age appropriate viewing as much as I can.
She was recently streaming an adorable episode Sing-a-ling Suprise that debuted April 4th on Amazon Prime, from the series Tumble Leaf. I was even hooked watching it, it was so cute.
Created by Drew Hodges (Community, SNL) and executive produced by Hodges and Kelli Bixler (The Roadents) of the award-winning studio Bix Pix Entertainment, Tumble Leaf follows Fig, a small blue fox, who lives in a whimsical land where he discovers adventure, friendship, and love around every bend.
The series reinforces the importance of learning through play, as it helps children understand the world around them. Tumble Leaf features the voice talent of Christopher Downs as Fig, Brooke Wolloff as Maple, Zac McDowell as Hedge, Addie Zintel as Pine, and Alex Trugman as Ginkgo.
Featuring lush worlds and playful stop-motion animation, Tumble Leaf has garnered multiple Daytime Emmy Awards, including for Outstanding Pre-School Children’s Animated Program.
The show has also earned the Jury Award for a TV series at the 2014 Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the 2015 Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated TV/Broadcast Production for Preschool Children and a 2015 Parents’ Choice Gold Award.
In “Spring-a-ling Surprise,” everyone helps Bloom the bunny hunt for his lost eggs, which he plans to plant for a spectacular spring surprise, while Fig the fox uncovers many other signs of spring along the way!
In my daughter’s usual fashion, she decided that she needed a fancy snack cup to keep her pretzels in when she watches the episodes.
She dug through my craft bucket and planned out an adorable kids craft she did on her own.
What you need for the Bunny Snack Cup Kids Craft:
How to make Bunny Snack Cup Kids Craft:
Start with one clear cocktail cup, sponge paint brush, and white acrylic paint.
Coat the cup with 2 layers of paint, allowing dry time (aprox 5 minutes) in between.
You will need glue dots, 6 even sections of pipe cleaners, one large and one small pom pom and bunny ears.
Using a strip of glue dots, start adding your decorations.
Add another eye, trying to keep as even as you can. This is the template for our face.
Next, add the bunny’s nose right under the eyes. Make sure you leave room for whiskers!!
Cut 6 even sections of pipe cleaners. Attach one at a time, starting with the first one on top, pointing up.
Add two more to make three whiskers on the bunny.
Add three more to the other side.
Add your bunny’s tail to the back.
Line up the bottom of your Fun Pix with the ridge of the cup. Using a glue dot, adhere it to the back of the cup.
Fill the cup with the green easter grass.
Fill with your favorite snack!
