    Social Media is changing again….

Sooo…in the midst of all the changes in social media, we are facing yet another one. GoogleFriendConnect will no longer support non-Blogger sites. This includes My Crafty Life.

So here’s what has changed so far….

    * Twitter (@ functions completely changed)

    * FaceBook soon to be fazing out “walls” in favor of “timelines”, not to mention the already updated privacy, page and profile changes.

*Klout totally redid their scoring algorithm.

*Triberr Twitter cracked down on them so they no longer support an auto function so we have to manually approve all Tweets and those considered promotional. That’s a tough one because all giveaways are considered promotional, so as a giveaway blogger it’s really hitting below the belt.

In order to compete with FaceBook Google has now created Google+. When Google announced the demise of GFC they casually STRONGLY suggested you move your GFC followers to your brand spanking new Google+ Page. Since my hands are tied, that’s what I am going to do. I created a Google+ page for this site and would love it if you added me in your circles. I love my followers, you make this site what it is, and I really don’t want to lose one of you. One of the main reasons I started this site is to share my cool finds with people, so I hope you stick with me.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
