Have a house full of hungry kids? Sabra and Walmart have partnered together to save you money and help your family eat better! The fabulous chickpea is the perfect food and my family can’t get enough of it.

When you are a family on the go like we are – easy, nutritious snacks are a must. In the past few years, we have discovered the wonder of Sabra Hummus Dip. My girls and my husband are Sabra’s biggest fans.

Scott, my husband, is a truck driver and unless he has a healthy snack or lunch, falls into the pitfalls of being a truck driver. Fast food, truck stop food and not eating cause massive problems with his health. We always make sure that we have fresh veggies and Sabra in the fridge for him.

If he forgets to make his lunch all he has to do is reach in the fridge and grab the container of Sabra. I feel better knowing he’s eating better and smarter. He has said he notices a difference in his energy level too. It’s much better than when he eats junky food and his heart thanks him.

When our local Walmart started carrying all the flavors of Sabra Hummus, my life was instantly made easier. School lunches became stress-free for me, honestly.

My youngest kids are still in school. They are 17 and 10 so making lunches isn’t always the easiest task. They both eat at different times of the day and have different tastes in food.

Luckily for me, they both tend to like healthy options better than junk food. They both ALWAYS agree on Sabra. All I have to do is hit Walmart, pick up a few containers of Sabra in the deli section (which is conveniently right next to the produce department), grab a few veggies and I am good to go.

Both girls have bento boxes for their lunches so we always have Sabra hummus, fresh veggies, cut up fruit, yogurt, granola, pita chips and pretzels ready for them to choose what they want for that day. Broccoli and tomatoes are my 10-year old’s favorite choice.

My girls are all about the dipping.

I really like the feeling of sending them with food I know is good for them. Since Sabra has no trans-fat, zero cholesterol, is completely GMO and gluten free – I know what they are getting is quality.

I, myself have a little bit of a hummus obsession. I love to have a multitude of flavors on hand. I used to have to hand make my hummus at home because I could never find the flavors I wanted at the store. Like I said, when my local Walmart started carrying all the Sabra flavors, my whole world changed.

Being a blogger, I have the horrible blogger habit of getting wrapped up in what I am doing and forget to eat. If I get really into work, I don’t like to stop and make a whole meal. Honestly, I am just a grazer by nature. A bowl of hummus and some carrot sticks are a meal for me.

When I first tasted the Olive Tamponade and Roasted Red Pepper flavors I didn’t stop eating them. My husband was worried that he was going to have to get a second job to keep me in hummus!

So, if my swooning over Sabra Hummus hasn’t convinced you, how about an in-store demonstration and recipe book?

On August 26, 2017 participating Walmarts’ will have in-store demos and you can taste the wonders of Sabra Hummus yourself!

Grab a recipe book, taste some awesome Sabra Hummus Dip and find out why hummus=happiness in my house.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
