Cooking with Pompeian Grapeseed Oil Spray

I totally dislike cooking with cooking spray. I am always afraid of the chemicals and I hate the aerosol spray smell they emit. I have been hearing a lot about the benefits of grapeseed oil so I was totally willing to try out Pompeian Grapeseed oil Cooking Spray. One of my favorite things about the spray is the three different types of ways you can use it. Drip, stream or spray.

Pompeian Grapeseed Oil has a high smoke point so I decided to try it out with my family’s favorite – cornbread.

    Grapeseed Oil facts:

grapeseed_smoke_pointPompeian imports 100% of its Grapeseed Oil from France. Its light flavor comes from delicate wine grapes, preserving the flavor of food. It’s perfect for stir frying, deep frying, sautéing and baking.

Grapeseed Oil is also a rich source of Vitamin E and antioxidants.

Grapeseed Oil is an all-natural cooking oil known for its high smoke point, a characteristic that makes it an ideal choice for stir-frying and deep frying. And because of its high fluidity, it reduces excess oil from absorbing into the food.

    *No propellants
    *No CFCs
    *No additives
    *Og Trans Fat
    *No cholesterol
    *No preservatives
    *Naturally gluten free

I really liked how easy the oil was to use, it did take me a few tries to get the drip to work well. I am going to try it on stir fry next. I bet the flavor will be great! I also am going to grab a bottle of the Grapeseed Oil to use in my pasta etc.

Our cornbread came out light, fluffy and easily from my glass pan. It stuck in one place but I think it was my error not the oil. I definitely will be using it often in my holiday baking. It doesn’t leave a film on my pan, it doesn’t have a after taste on the food and I really like that there are not propellants. Great stuff.

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
