We were lucky enough to get tickets to the advanced screening in Chicago to see ParaNorman and my kids were so excited to go see it. What I didn’t know that sweetened the pot is that it was 3D!

I have to tell you, I was really impressed by the entire movie. It was really cute, very endearing and was a good movie for both parents and kids. It had a few tongue in cheek  lines aimed at the parents that made me laugh. Norman’s side kick was one of the best part of the movie. His self deprecating, comfortable in his own skin, sense of humor is a good lesson for kids.  We loved the moral of the story and loved watching unlikely characters come together to solve a problem. While it’s not for everyone, particularly kids under 6 {although my 5 year old was enthralled, she loves spooky things and doesn’t scare easily} it is a really cute movie. If you liked Coraline, you will like this movie. My 5 year old’s favorite part? When the corpse licked Norman! Told you, she following in Mommy’s foot steps! LOL

I definitely recommend you see this movie, it was awesome in 3D!

I was given tickets to facilitate my review, a positive review was not required.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
