This post is in partnership with the #MyLittlePonyMovie and Lionsgate. All thoughts are my own.

Have you heard? My Little Pony has their own movie! By some stroke of luck, I was invited to attend the My Little Pony Movie Red Lavender Carpet Premiere with my friend’s Meredith from Sanity in Suburbia and Mitch from Gay NYC Dad!

Don’t miss the giveaway! My Crafty Life has 10 prize packs to giveaway in celebration of
the October 6th, 2017 premiere of the My Little Pony Movie!! Go here to enter.

It was a star-studded event and we got to see and chat with Liev Schreiber, Taye Diggs, Kristin Chenoweth and Uzo Aduba. Liev was with his kids and was super gracious about taking pictures with us despite having to wrangle them amongst the crowd.

My Little Pony. Where rainbow friendship reigns supreme.

My Little Pony has been in my life since as far back as I can remember. Between myself and my girls, we have owned close to a hundred of them! My favorite growing up was Butterscotch. After watching the movie I have decided that Pinky Pie is my favorite. Meredith got a picture with her favorite Rainbow Dash!

Pinky Pie was kind enough to take a picture with me!

I also got to chat with Tara Strong who was adorable as she seems and was so fun! Tara Strong is the voice of Princess Twilight Sparkle and is a favorite of my kids. She has voiced quite a few of their favorite characters.

We were treated to lots of goodies including popcorn, candy (Yum DOTS), drinks and snacks. I was super grateful because after all the activity I was famished!

They gave us Pinky Pie Cookies!! I was so happy they made it home for my daughter. Most adorable cookies I have seen in a long time.

Why You Need To See The My Little Pony Movie

Even if you are an adult, you will like it. I found myself chuckling at quite a few parts. The overall theme of friendship, individuality and loyalty was fantastic. It stayed true to the My Little Pony message: friendship and kindness.

The movie was full of rainbows and sparkles, two of my favorite things. There were little boys there that totally were into it too! It’s got a little bit something for everyone. Action, suspense, unicorns and even phoenixes!

I am glad I got to see it with my bestie and other special blog friends.

It was made even better with a catchy tune by one of my favorite artists, Sia. Her voice and character was a great addition to the My Little Pony Movie. My daughter was excited to see her favorite dancer Maddie in the video.

I am excited to bring you a giveaway in celebration of the October 6th release of the My Little Pony Movie!

10 readers of My Crafty Life will win an adorable My Little Pony Movie Swag Pack!

If you are looking for an adorable DIY project for your My Little Pony fans, make sure you check out Cutefetti’s adorable Twilight Sparkle DIY Backpack! I want her to make me a Pinky Pie one.

I have to give a big shout out to The Empire Hotel that hosted us while we were in New York. It was super clean, had amazing friendly staff and the location is stellar being right across from the New York City Ballet and the Philharmonic. We got in some fabulous people watching. It was awesome to sit in the clean park across the street in the morning and enjoy our coffee.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
