Pretty much as long as I have been alive I have been around Old Spice. When I lived with my parents my Dad used it. When I got married my husband used it and now he has passed it along to my soon to be 17 year old son. The brand has definitely evolved over the years. Both my husband and my son have tried other brands but I have noticed that Old Spice always seems to find it’s way back into the bathroom.

One of the best things to come along was the new Old Spice ads. Isaiah Mustafa makes Old Spice seem fun. Isaiah has gone around the country to spread the word about Old Spices new Re-fresh Body Sprays that contain a P&G proprietary Re-fresh Technology featuring a patented cyclic molecule with an empty core that absorbs some fragrance as the Body Spray dries on the skin. Can I tell you how much of a relief that is? Spray clouds are the bane of a 16 year old mother’s existence.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to interview Isaiah Mustafa LIVE one on one during his Re-Fresh Tour Event in Cicero, IL. My son couldn’t be there because his teachers unexpectedly threw 3 tests at him that day. So I filled in and interviewed Isaiah for him. He was super nice, very cool and I loved his answers to the questions. Turn your volume up, it’s a little low because we were in a huge conference room at the school.

Old Spice threw an awesome event. They gifted my son a fantastic grab bag and my daughter even stole the Figi deodorant out of the bag. See – girls can use it too! Here’s some pictures of the event and the awesome bag my son was ecstatic to have. He even let my daughter use Spiffy in his hair. That was huge. 🙂
