Everydayfamily.com is a great free resource.

First-time parents of a newborn often feel as if they have been handed a complicated product with no instruction manual. While it can be overwhelming to begin to learn all there is to know about being a parent, there is a community that can help. An online place to share with others and see the answers to questions they might have is www.everydayfamily.com. It is informative on many parenting topics, from preconception to saving money with coupons.

Unlike many parenting sites of this caliber, Everyday Family membership is completely free. The site will send a weekly newsletter describing a baby’s development at each stage. There are free baby items and many contests to enter in order to win prizes. The community of parents and experts can answer just about any parenting question. Interactive online checklists and rewards points can make the process more fun.

A unique feature of the site is the personalized online home called My Everyday. Users can chat with friends, upload photos, join groups or write blog posts. There are forums and articles specific to parents as indicated with headings like Health and Fitness, Relationship and Money Basics. With www.everydayfamily.com, a new parent is sure to find the answers to her questions. She just might find new friends as well.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
