Any one with any kind of chronic pain understands how hard it is to remember things that happen when you are dealing with pain. One day blurs into the other, you forget what meds you took, doctors ask you why you were in pain or how you think it happened- I don’t know about you but by the time I see the doctor I have already forgotten.

I have had migraines and headaches since I was 9 years old. I also have TMD (temporal mandibular disease). It’s hard to distinguish between true migraines, allergy headaches and TMD issues. I have always wondered if there was a correlation between weather etc and my headaches.

This is where the makers of My Pain Diary step in to help. On February 7th, 2013 the Headache and Migraine Tracker will be live in the Headache and Migraine Tracker is a specialized version of the award-winning My Pain Diary, configured for headache tracking with additional features such as a Head Map, Duration and Symptoms.

I have been using it for about a week and I am really impressed by how well it works, that you can download pdfs of your history and summary for your records, plus how easy it is to use.

    Calendar
    Reports

Here’s a few screen shots of my most recent track:

    headache4
    headache3
    headache2
    headache1

My favorite part of the app is the fact you can chart where your headaches are on your head. This can be a vital part in determining what type of headaches you are getting, why and how frequent in that specific area. All the information is right at your finger tips on your phone.

I highly recommend this app for any one who has crazy headaches like I do. This app is made by some one who understands and knows what chronic pain sufferers go through. Read his story here: http://americannewsreport.com/chronic-pain-apps-make-pain-relief-just-a-phone-call-away-8813149

Later in the month I will be doing a review of the My Chronic Pain app and I will also be giving away some codes to some lucky readers so you can try it out yourself! Stay tuned. If you download the headache app please let me know what you think!

I received a product to facilitate my review and/or spotlight. No other compensation was received and positive review was not required. All thoughts are my own.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
