I have been a mom for 18 years now. In the beginning I was pretty chill about losing stuff. Stuff was replaceable. Sadly the price of kids apparel and accessories have skyrocketed since then. Things that used to cost me $.50 now cost $5. It costs me waaay more money to replace things now.

My 8 year old is a very smart little girl, but can be seriously scattered brained when it comes to hanging on to her stuff. I have gone through more pairs of gloves, hats, socks, water bottles and lunch boxes with her than my older two put together. Since we do Girl Scout Camp every summer this can be concerning.

We are going back to the big facility this year. This means LOTS of wide open space for her to lose things and she won’t always be with me to pick up her dropped items as usual. She is not alone. Our lost and found is quite full by the end of the week and some how my trunk always becomes the lost and found mobile center for all the kids to come to my house and pick up their misplaced items.

We are working on getting the girls used to cooking their own meals over an open fire therefore they are required to bring their own mess kits this year. Another thing for Liv to lose! LOL. When I was given the opportunity to try out Mabel’s Labels, a company I have been eying for years, I jumped on it quick. If all their claims are correct, they could just save me money this year.

I loved that she could pick out and design her own labels. The ones she picked out definitely reflect her personality.

We were given the Limited Edition Camp Label Pack to try out. This contains:

    • 10 Personalized Name Stickers: 70mm x 16mm (2-3/4″ x 5/8″)
    • 24 Mini Custom Name Stickers: 38mm x 8mm (1-1/2″ x 5/16″)
    • 8 Custom Shoe Stickers: 33mm (1.3″)
    • 50 Tag Mates™ Stick On Clothing Labels: 21mm x 10mm (13/16″ x 3/8″)
    • 2 Personalized Bag Tags: 57mm x 32mm (2-1/4″ x 1-1/4″)

Plus 5 awesome postcards that have a camp theme (my daughter LOVED these)

My favorite part of the kit was the bag tag and the shoe stickers. You would be surprised how many shoes these kids lose at camp! I am definitely going to be throwing them on her clothes, swim gear, sunscreen, bug spray etc.

This pack is perfect for whatever goes with your kid to camp that could be misplaced or mixed up with someone else’s. Another favorite feature of mine is that the products are laundry, dishwasher & microwave-safe and 100% guaranteed.

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
