Centrum Flavor Burst Review
So I will be honest. I had no hope that these vitamins would taste good at all. I wanted to try them because I am an optimist. Some day they will finally come up with a vitamin that doesn’t make you gag right? I have tried the chewy ones, the gummies, the pills, you name it. All gross. I have a strong gag reflex so anything that has a strong after taste I can not deal with. I also have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity plus allergies to almonds and coconut. A lot of vitamins now use coconut oil as a binding agent. These chews also use coconut but the way it’s incorporated in the chews didn’t seem to bother me at all. I was super excited by that.
Let me tell you the grape are my favorite. They actually taste really good for a vitamin. I will disclose that there is a slight “vitamin” aftertaste but not enough to make the chew unbearable. You can’t really expect them to get rid of the taste entirely. Next time I buy a bottle I am going to get the just grape ones and a mixed fruit for my daughter. She loves every flavor so when we got the mixed fruit bottle to review it worked out well, she ate the blue and red, I ate the grape. 🙂 My 7 year old was so jealous that my older daughter and I got such cool vitamins that she asked me to buy her the younger version of the chews. As you can see by the picture above she has been gung-ho about taking her vitamins. I can’t ask for more.
So I’ve gone from totally not believing at all that Centrum could make a vitamin that I could actually stomach to a new fan. No one could be more surprised than me.
