A quick and easy way to “makeover” your motor…….

by Scott R (Jen @craftymomof3 husband)

Me and my son’s shopping mission to Autozone started with a simple shopping list and enough daylight to get our immediate winter auto maintenance done. We headed out to get STP multipurpose motor treatment , new wipers and windshield de-icer. Unfortunately when we arrived at Autozone the STP was out of stock. So from there we needed to re-group. Our next choice was Walmart. Thinking quick, I gave my wife a call to see what else we could pick up. We made a new list and moved on.

We cruised into Walmart and hightailed it over to the automotive section. We very quickly found The STP motor treatment. This stores signage is excellent. After making a few comparisons we grabbed the STP and moved on to find the wipers and de-icer . Luckily they were also right there and just as easily found. Then we changed gears and moved to the food section and grabbed stuff for cake and present wrapping (for our youngest daughter’s birthday). Checked out real quick and ran out to try and make use of the remaining daylight.

I like to try and get several chores done at a time as much as possible. So grouping automotive tasks together makes sense to me. Also I try to get at least one of the kids to give me a hand to speed up the job and teach them a thing or two as well. In this case I employed my son as my photographer.

First I added the STP Motor treatment. I removed the cap and poured it into a full tank of gas. Nice and Easy. Then I put on the new wipers with minimal trouble . And last I popped the hood and carefully added the de-icer . Wa-la auto chores complete!

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
