Sugar’n Cream – Fun Decorations

Crochet a holiday garland with stars, flowers, or candy canes to dress up your tree or anywhere in your home! Approx 3.5 yds [3.25 m] long. Made in Lily Sugar’n Cream. 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook.

MATERIALS: Lily® Sugar’n Cream

Note: 56.7 g / 2 oz of yarn makes a Garland approx 3.5 yds [3.25 m] long.

Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. Assorted beads for A or C only: silver, red, white ¼ inch [6 mm] in diameter. Hot glue.

GAUGE: 14 sc and 16 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
Garland A: (Little stars).
1st row: *Ch 11. Sl st in 4th ch from hook. (Ch 4. Sl st in same sp as last sl st) 4 times. Rep from * to required length. Ch 6. Fasten off. Glue bead in center of each Star.

Garland B: (Candy canes).
1st row: *Ch 14. 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and each of next 5 ch. 2 sc in each of next 2 ch (place marker on last worked ch). Ch 4. 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 2 sc in each of next 2 ch. Ch 1. Sl st in marked ch. Rep from * to required length. Ch 7. Fasten off.

Garland C: (Flowers).
1st row: *Ch 15. Sl st in 5th ch from hook. (Ch 1. 1 sc. Ch 2. Sl st in top of sc – Picot made) 8 times in ch-5 ring. Rep from * to required length. Ch 9. Fasten off. Glue bead in center of each Flower.
