    Back to School....

I don’t know about you but I have clumsy kids. 🙂  It’s one of their endearing qualities, but I still need to be prepared! So I came up with a great craft that they can be part of and make sure they are ready for all life’s bump and bruises.

    Back Pack First Aid Kit

    Supplies (all optional but suggested):

*Plastic container big enough to fit supplies: travel soap dish or crayon/pencil container

    *index card

    *travel size hand sanitizer

    *various size bandages

    *hand lotion

    *travel tissue pack

    *bee sting packet

*travel neosporin or small antibiotic packet

    *lip balm or chapstick

    *alcohol wipes

    *small individually wrapped gauze

    *small roll of medical tape

    Directions

Purchase all of the items needed your child’s first aid kit. Include any items that might come in handy for your child, like an eyeglass repair kit or bug bite cream etc.

Cut an index card so that it fits inside of the container. Print your child’s name, address* and contact phone numbers on the card. Include allergies to any medications or food.  Glue or securely tape the card on the inside of the lid.

Allow your child to decorate the out side with puffy paint, foam stickers or anything to their liking to make it their own.

Fill the box with all of the supplies. Put the first aid kit inside a small pocket in front of your child’s school bag.

    *optional

    About jen @craftymomof3

I am a "crafty" mom of 3 who has been blogging for 10+ years. I’ve been a product reviewer/influencer on and off, but mostly just write about life and food I love. I’m a dyslexic, an extreme book addict, a total nerd, a fangirl, and a paranormal enthusiast. I am a New Englander at heart but I currently live in the MidWest. I am obsessed with the ocean, food, tech, books, anything supernatural, and although I am hopelessly sarcastic...I am a softy. Oh, and I like coffee. A LOT.
