As a kid, I was obsessed with coloring. I have a slight case of OCD and it was therapeutic for me as a child to color. It gave me a sense of order and calmness. I don’t know how I missed it, but you can create coloring pages on Cricut Air! I used a pre-designed page that I found in the Design Space because I love owls and this particular coloring page is going to be hung up in my house when I am finished with it!
To create a coloring page all you need is a 12×12 cardstock paper, a Cricut Black Fine Point Pen, a 12×12 Cutting Mat and your Cricut Air. Adhere the paper to your mat and load the design in your Design Space online or on your tablet. Check that you have the dial to paper and feed the mat into the machine using the up and down arrow button. When all is ready and in the proper place, the green C button will light up. Hit that button when you are all ready.
It’s as easy as that. Just sit back and let the machine do it’s work. It’s amazing to watch honestly!
Coloring pages are so fun and relaxing! Now you don’t have to make a trip to the store to get an adult coloring book because, with the help of your Cricut and its awesome pen tool capabilities, it’s super easy to make your own cute coloring pages! I am addicted to them.
This project uses the pen tool to draw the coloring page on cardstock. You can visit the Cricut Coloring Page cartridge to find a printable version as well!
After you see the wonders of a pre-designed coloring page, play around with your own design! You can take inspiration from the colors in your house, outside or your crayon box.
