New 4D LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™ Movie Experience Premiers at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago on June 10
SCHAUMBURG – This summer, guests at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago can download themselves into an all-new 4D movie experience starring the LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™. In an immersive 4D animated adventure including wind, water and smoke created especially for LEGOLAND, it’s up to the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS to defeat evil.
Set in the futuristic world of Knighton, LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS: The Book of Creativity follows five young Knights in their quest to defeat Jestro, the Book of Monsters and all their Lava Monsters. Led by heroic Clay Moorington, the band of knights join forces with the great digital Wizard, Merlok 2.0 to vanquish the enemy and stop him getting his devious hands on the most powerful and dangerous magic book – the Book of Creativity.
The brand new 12-minute film with 3D and 4D elements is the latest way for children to interact with the innovative world of NEXO KNIGHTS. (The film is recommended for children ages 7 and up.) More than 170 shields can be found across various touchpoints including online, on LEGO sets and by watching the TV series; these shields can be scanned onto the Merlok 2.0 app, upgrading players’ powers to help the Knights fight marauding monsters. Those who already have the app will be delighted at the chance to get exclusive “power ups” at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago to enhance their playing prowess. And those who don’t should download before they visit to kick-start an exciting play experience with exclusive content.
The weekend’s activities include:

· NEXO Quest for six exclusive shields hidden throughout the Center
· NEXO takeover of MINILAND Chicago
· NEXO KNIGHTS Creative Challenge – build a unique power shield and receive an official LEGO Build Certificate (Saturday and Sunday only)

Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11, will have extended hours from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday, June 12, will be regular summer attraction hours from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. The last admission is two hours before closing.
