Your views on mainstream music….

Honestly….I am felling a lot better about it. For awhile I felt bad for this generation of music lovers…they had slim pickin’s. Then along came Rock Band. Rock Band opened these kids up to older music. My kids were reintroduced to AC/DC, Rush, Green Day (old school circa 1995), Journey, Metallica…all of my husband and my favorite tunes. 🙂

Now it seems music has taken it cue from Rock Band. Go back to when music was good, music videos were still completely awesome and being played ALL the time.

Katy Perry is my new favorite. Her videos ROCK.

I love Last Friday Night & her homage to the 80’s movies….

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite. I love the accents & intonations she has in this song. SOME ADULT CONTENT AT THE END OF THIS VIDEO. Don’t watch it with small ones, but I had to share it because the video is so visually stunning.
