I was reading my very good friend’s blog the other day Life in the Carpool Lane and noticed she was doing a blog challenge. It was one I have been wanting to do for awhile so here I go! (I am a little behind, I should have started on the 1st but hey, that’s the story of my life.)
Day 1
~Your Current Relationship~
My current relationship is now 17 years in the making. I have been with my husband for 17 years and we’ll have been married for 15 years this November. We met officially at a party in October when I was 17 and he was 21. He was a friend of my very recent ex-boyfriend, but since we seemed to click I looked past that. We dated all through my senior year and set a wedding date for November 1996. I found out I was pregnant with my son in September 1996 so we went ahead and got married as planned and I had my son a couple months after my 20th birthday in June 1997. Since then we have been through more than our share of trials and tribulations. We went on to have 2 daughters, one in 2000 and another in 2006 who was 9 weeks premature due to severe health problems on my part. Despite everything we are still together, I really think due to the fact that we have truly been each others best friends since almost the moment we met.
