A new twist on an old favorite!
Ingredients
1 stick of salted butter
1 can of pineapple slices
1 cup of brown sugar
1 jar of maraschino cherries
4-6 unwrapped Twinkies
sprinkles (optional)
whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
Start with a 4x4 section of tin foil. Place one pat of butter in the center of the foil. Sprinkle on tablespoon of brown sugar over the pat of butter. Place one slice of pineapple over the pat of butter. Place 1 unwrapped Twinkie over the top of the pineapple upside down. In each hole on the bottom of the Twinkie place one maraschino cherry. Wrap the tin foil into a packet and place on the grill (on low) for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes flip the packet over and cook for 2 more minutes. Take off the grill and let cool. Carefully unwrap the foil. You can add whip cream and sprinkles if desired with a additional maraschino cherry.
